If you live in central Maryland, we offer a personal shopping experience for you and a group of your friends & family in the comfort of your own home.

We will introduce you and your guests to our collection of bath & body, skin care, personal care and hair care products as well as sample our fragrance and essential oils that make up our uniquely scented products. You will also learn about the benefits of using handmade products that are free of harsh chemicals. Our products are made to order in small batches. We use a combination of quality ingredients and careful preparation to create bath and body products with a handcrafted touch.

Some products will be available to purchase on the day of your party.

Q: Is there a cost to hosting a party?

A: There is no charge to host a party. You provide the appetizers and refreshments and we will provide a collection of handmade bath and body products for your guests to sample and buy.

Q: How many party guests should I invite?

A: The number of party guests is up to you. We suggest that you invite up to 10 guests and target 5 to 7 attending.

Q: How far in advance should I plan party?

A: That is entirely up to you, most plan a party at least 30 days in advance. When you are inviting friends and family most know their schedule 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

Q: How is the invitation process handled?

A: We recommend that you personally invite your guests – get your invitations out quickly. Follow up with a couple of calls and send a reminder email or text the week of the party.

Q: What is recommended in regards to refreshments and food?

A: Keep it light, offering simple appetizers and beverages. The easier you make your party, the more time you will have to interact with your guests and sample products.

Q: Do I have to have my party in my home?

A: You can choose to have your party in your home or at a variety of venues. Parties can be held at club houses, recreation centers, churches, hair salons, etc. If you host a party outside of your home, make sure the space is reserved for about 3 hours to ensure there is enough time to have refreshments, conduct planned activities, and of course sampling and buying products.

Q: What will take place at my party?

A: Our at home party is a casual, fun, and interactive experience that just unfolds naturally. You and your guests will enjoy sampling products the minute they walk in the door. Most parties last for about 2 to 3 hours.

Q: Will my guests feel pressured?

A: Not at all. We are passionate about our products and we hope you and your guests will enjoy them as much as we do, but we understand that our products are not for everyone. By the end of the party, we hope all your guests had a fun time and enjoyed the fellowship.

Q: What form of payment is acceptable?

A: We accept cash and major credit cards Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover via PayPal. Personal checks are not accepted.

Q: What is the time frame that my guests will receive their orders?

A: Made to order products will be shipped directly to your guests home within 5-10 days of purchase. Products from orders placed directly with the host before the party will be shipped or delivered to the host to distribute.

Q: What if a few of my guests cannot attend but they still want to order?

A: If a guest cannot attend your event, you will be provided with an exclusive shop code for your guest to use to shop online prior to your party. The exclusive code will allow us to track your guest orders to count towards your host incentives. Guests may also place an order directly with you before your party. Please account for the state of Maryland 6% state tax.

Q: Is Belle & Blaire Handmade Bath and Body a multi-level marketing (MLM) company?

A: No, we’ve been selling our handmade bath and body products online since 2011. We are an independent family-owned business located in Baltimore County, Maryland. We offer home parties to promote and sell our products locally. When you host a Belle & Blaire party, the owners will come out to your home or venue to introduce our handcrafted bath and body products to you and your guests. We are not in the business of recruiting consultants. We are passionate about our products and hope that you and your guests will love them as much as we do.
