Some outtakes from the local high school craft fair we attended on Saturday.
This time around Tyra brought more skincare and personal care products than bath and body products. We’re still trying to find our groove with attending vendor craft fairs and figuring out what products potential customers will respond to the best. We met a lot of people with interest in the products, but they were reluctant to buy which is understandable. Instead of being discouraged by the lack of sales, we had good conversations and gave everyone we met a business card to encourage them to visit the website to learn more about our products.
Although attending this event was not one of our most productive days, it gave us an opportunity to meet other local business owners while learning and discovering tips we can implement to improve our booth setup and product promotion. Tyra is still not completely convinced that doing vendor events is beneficial to growing the business, but we did gain a lead for a possible home party to promote products locally.
